At Archtube, we are thrilled to announce our dual victory at the 8th edition of the LIT Lighting Design Awards, a recognition of our commitment to innovative, sustainable, and artistic lighting solutions.
Community Building/Public Building Lighting Design Award
Nicosia Municipality Town Hall
Architects: Irwin & Kritioti Architecture
Lighting Design: Archtube
The first award was for our lighting design of the Nicosia Municipality Town Hall in Cyprus, recognized in the Community Building/Public Building Lighting Design category. Located in the historic heart of Nicosia, this landmark project blends heritage and modernity. Our lighting design highlights the intricate architecture of the Main Hall with soft, indirect lighting, balancing cooler tones on the exterior with warmer hues for the interiors. Automation systems, DALI technologies, and energy-efficient fixtures were incorporated to create a sustainable, functional, and visually stunning result. The lighting scheme transforms the Town Hall into a vibrant cultural hub, connecting the civic and public realms.
Hospitality Lighting Design Award
Lambadistis Winery
Architects: Eraclis Papachristou Architects
Lighting Design: Archtube
The second award was for our work on Lambadistis Winery in the Hospitality Lighting Design category. Perched on a picturesque mountainside in Cyprus, this winery features a dramatic lighting design that synchronizes with its bold architectural concept. By day, natural light connects the interior spaces with the surrounding landscape, while at night, carefully layered illumination enhances the dining experience and highlights key architectural elements. The lighting emphasizes the winery’s unique identity, with special focus on its supporting pillars, symbolizing the stages of wine production. This project is more than afunctional space; it is an immersive experience that marries light, architecture, and nature.
